Before the commencement of a toast to the evening, Zhou Xianwang, Director of Hubei’s Commerce Department, stated the importance of Hubei’s role in making headway within China as the country strives to recover from the global economic downturn. He also stated the eagerness of multinational companies located in Hubei to commit to overseas business and hopes that Mayor Franklin and her administration will continue its ties in bridging local and overseas businesses.
