NACA Senior Vice President Joins Illustrious Panel Discussion

NACA Senior Vice President Xianqin (Lisa) Wallace was invited to participate in a panel discussion to commemorate the 4th annual Women’s History Month, a program developed by the Airport Area Chamber of Commerce. Ms. Wallace joined a stellar panel made up of three other prominent Atlanta- area business women. The panel discussion sought to address the evolving role of women in the business environment, followed by a stirring address by the keynote speaker Atlanta Mayor Kasim Reed, in which he detailed the vital role of women in his administration.

As the sole Asian participant on the panel, Ms. Wallace addressed her own experiences in a manner that was both realistic and encouraging. She lauded NACA’s mission of building leaders, citing its efforts to mentor young students and professionals as they begin their own careers. She noted the importance of being able to embrace change and the intelligence to ask for advice.

The event was held at the Georgia International Convention Center and was attended by over 250 Atlanta-area professionals representing Atlanta’s most prominent business, including UPS, Chick-fil-A, and AirTran.
