NACA Raised More Than $25,000 for China Earthquake Relief Efforts

Atlanta, GA May 26, 2008 – On May 24, NACA held a fundraising event for the China Earthquake Relief efforts at its annual general member meeting.

The NACA China Earthquake Relief Fundraising event was held at Sydney�s Buffet in Duluth, Georgia, and attended by over one hundred NACA members, friends, supporters, and sponsors. NACA provided lunch for all attendees as our token of appreciation for their generosity and support for the people in China as they prepare to rebuild their communities.

The NACA China Earthquake Relief Fund has reached more than $25,000 by far and will continue to grow as more members and friends continue to send in their donations. 100% of the donation will be sent directly to the Red Cross in China to help with the relief efforts there.NACA Earthquake Relief Fundraising is still ongoing.

If anyone is interested in contributing to the Relief Fund, please send donations by check, payable to “National Association of Chinese-Americans,” to 5483 Redbark Way, Atlanta, GA 30338.
