NACA Hosts the China Council for Promotion of International Trade

NACA, in association with the Georgia Department of Economic Development, hosted a banquet welcoming to Atlanta the China Council for Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT). The banquet held at Canton House Restaurant in Duluth was attended by the 19 officials from the CCPIT, 15 representatives from various companies, and Atlanta local government officials and community members. Atlanta City Council Member Kwanza Hall and Sandy Springs Mayor Eva Galambos addressed the banquet welcoming the CCPIT members and underlining the area’s interest in continued free trade arrangements with China. Vice Chair Mr. Dong Songgen also addressed the banquet, relaying the day’s successful meetings. The banquet followed a day’s worth of meetings between the CCPIT and various business interests in the Atlanta area.

The CCPIT, establishe din 1952, is the largest institution for the promotion of foreign trade in China and is comprised of VIPS, enterprises, and organizations representing economic and trade sectors in China.
