NACA Chair Lani Wong Selected as GAT’s 25 Most Influential Asian Americans in Georgia

Since its inception in 2006, Lani Wong has been selected as one of Georgia Asian Times’ 25 Most Influential Asian Americans in Georgia. With the selection of this year’s honorees, Ms. Wong shares the honor with the likes of Charlice Byrd (Georgia House of Representatives, District 20), Byung “BJay” Pak (Georgia House of Representatives, District 102) and Alex Wan (Atlanta City Councilman, District 6).

To honor all 25 recipients of this award, a banquet was held at Happy Valley Restaurant in Norcross on July 14th. Over 300 guests attended including government dignitaries, community and business leaders and media representatives. Each honoree was presented with a custom cut crystal award by Georgia Asian Times President, Li Wong.

Georgia Asian Times celebrates the achievements made by the Asian-American multicultural community, local businesses and the promotion of culture among the vast number of Asian ethnic groups. The award recognizes contributions made by the honorees to the community and the passion behind their work.

Ms. Wong was joined by her husband John and other NACA members to celebrate her achievements made in the community and the honor presented to her that evening.
