NACA Attends Dinner in Honor of China’s Premier Wen Jiabao

NACA Chair Lani Wong was invited to a dinner in honor of China’s Premier Wen Jiabao on September 22, 2010.

The dinner was organized by the National Committee on U.S.-China Relations and the U.S.-China Business Council. Other co-hosting organizations included the C-100 and the Asia Society among others. This dinner was part of China’s Premier Wen Jiaobao’s three-day trip to New York for the opening of the United Nations General Assembly.

Premier Wen’s distinguished delegation included Yang Jiechi (Minister of Foreign Affairs), Chen Deming (Minister of Commerce), Chen Zhu (Minister of Health), Han Changfu (Minister of Agriculture), and Zhang Ping (Director of National Development and Reform Commission). Distinguished guest from US include Secretary of Commerce Gary Locke, Dr. Henry Kissinger, President Nixon’s emissary to Beijing, Muhtar Kent, President and CEO of The Coca-Cola Company.

9月22日晚，全美华人协会主席Lani Wong，资深副会长Steven Gu 出席了由美中关系委员会和美中贸易全国委员会主办的温家宝总理欢迎晚宴，温家宝总理发表了题为《携手开创新时期中美关系的光明未来》的演讲。美国商务部长骆家辉、美国前国务卿基辛格等出席了晚宴。
