Maggie Mers came to the United States from Beijing, China in 1986 for Internship Hotel Management and worked at Walt Disney World in Orlando, FL, in 1988 settling in Atlanta, GA where she attended GSU studying International Trade and Computer Information Systems.

She became an Independent International Logistics Consultant and translator in 1993 through 2004. She is the founder and CEO of MBM International Logistics

She is the founder and CEO of MBM International Logistics starting in 2005 to present, a dynamic freight forwarder, transportation and in-house licensed customs broker company, bonded warehousing, and distribution with 25+ years of experience in logistics consulting, warehousing, and transportation.

She is one of the first Asian females in Georgia to hold the OTI/NVOCC title license granted by Federal Maritime Commission. She was named 2018 Fast 100 Asian American Business Awards with the US Pan Asian American and 2019 Top Ten Asian American Business Enterprise Award.

Maggie has been a leader and contributor to the local community since she came to Atlanta in 1988. She is a driving force for many local organizations. She currently serves as the treasurer for CBAA and USPAACC-SE, Sr. VP for NACA. MBM makes it possible for her and her company to be an unconditional volunteer and financial contributor for the Asian community.

She was also Awarded as 2018 GAT 25 Most Influential Asian Americans in Georgia and nominated “Woman of the Year 2010/2011 by (NAPW) National Association of Professional Women. She was also awarded by General Consul Madam Qiao Hong for logistics coordinating for safe return of Olympic Sculptures world tour from Atlanta to Beijing Olympics in 2008.
