Bingzi (Leona) Hu is a Senior Associate Attorney at a prestigious and nationally recognized law firm, Lowther Walker, LLC. She has been on the cutting edge of criminal defense in both state and federal courts and reached successes in high-profile cases. Her practice focused on appeals and white collar crime defense such as securities fraud, bankruptcy fraud, and money laundering, etc. She has been reported as “one of the best white-collar crime and appellate lawyers in the state” by the Times-Georgian.
Bingzi obtained her Juris Doctor’s degree from Georgia State University College of Law. After that, she pursued further studies in Federal Criminal Defense and Practices and obtained an LL.M. degree from Mercer University’s Walter F. George School of Law. Prior to coming to the United States, Bingzi had a Master’s degree in Chinese law.
Bingzi is an active community volunteer and serves as the Secretary of the National Association of Chinese-Americans (NACA). Bingzi led NACA’s Legal Talents Program, a brand new mentorship program that NACA proudly launched in 2018. She has dedicated countless hours
in developing this new program to cultivate young legal professionals and next generation of Asian American leaders. This Program has become a success and widely recognized by media.Moreover, Bingzi published more than 20 articles on community events in local newspapers.
