Atlanta City Councilman and NACA’s favorite son Alex Wan has graciously agreed to WELCOME in the Year of the Rabbit.

Our keynote speaker, Paula Yoo, is an award-winning YA book author from Los Angeles.  Her recent book, From a Whisper to a Rallying Cry, chronicles the killing of Vincent Chin, a 1982 tragedy and ensuing miscarriage of justice which sparked the modern AAPI civil rights movement.  Her next project focuses on the 1992 LA Riots and the relationship between the Korean American and Black communities ever since.
