携手献爱心 万里桑梓情 ——全美华人协会向湖北等地捐赠36000个口罩

  中国的新型肺炎疫情一直牵动着海外华人华侨的心。疫情发生以来,全美华人协会密切关注,并迅速募集善款、调动资源,组织口罩等急需物资驰援中国。经过一场爱心接力,36000个满载爱心、凝聚众力、寄寓愿望的口罩已经送达湖北省汉川市人民医院、江西省井冈山市人民医院、信阳人民医院、湖北省人民对外友好协会、乔治亚理工学院深圳校区、天津大学、林海集团有限公司等地。 这次成功的捐赠离不开华协全体理事的大力支持。全美华人协会共募集善款13000美元,其中包括华协资金5000美元,华协理事Maggie Mers捐赠2000美元,华协理事Shandry Law捐赠1000美元,其它捐赠方5000美元。华协不但捐赠了物资,而且承担了物资运输清关等成本。特别值得一提的是,Maggie Mers克服了重重困难,终于在这个非常时期妥善做好了对接货源和运输物流的安排。华协主席李秀兰、理事郑力、理事Carol Ng、理事胡冰子等为组织协调捐赠做了大量工作。 携手献爱心,万里桑梓情。大家团结起来,就能共克时艰,赢得抗疫斗争的胜利。我们同气连枝,珍重待春风!
