NACA Participates in EACC Expo and Trade Fair

As exhibitors to the event, Board Members Zheng Li, Connie Yip and member Jane Li represented NACA at a trade fair and expo hosted by the Ecuadorian-American Chamber of Commerce on Saturday, July 23rd. NACA focuses on bridging cultural, business and educational ties between the U.S. and China, but more specifically, it encourages Chinese companies to invest and build business in Atlanta. While Chinese companies previously targeted larger and more well-known coastal cities in the U.S, they are now focusing on the potential for growth and opportunity that exist in the southeastern region of the U.S.

With fourteen Fortune 500 companies headquartered in Atlanta such as UPS, The Coca-Cola Company, Delta Air Lines, and The Home Depot, Atlanta is a city poised for rapid growth and development. This, coupled with the presence of Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport, named the world’s busiest airport based on passenger traffic, make Atlanta appealing to Chinese companies who not only wish to expand into the U.S. market, but into Central and South America as well. NACA’s presence at the expo served to establish a relationship with the local Hispanic-American community.
