NACA Attends 10th Annual AAHF Gala and Fundraiser (NACA参加第十届AAHF募捐晚宴)

As a Gold Sponsor of this year’s banquet, held on the evening of Saturday, May 21st, NACA members gathered for the reception and an ethnically inspired dinner hosted by the Asian American Heritage Foundation (AAHF). Like years past, the banquet was held at the Hyatt Regency located in Downtown Atlanta. The Asian American population, with its great diversity in cultural, political and religious backgrounds, continues to grow across the U.S. By bringing these groups together, AAHF celebrates their achievements and contributions made in society.

Presentations were made during the dinner to companies and organizations in the Atlanta area who support the Asian community and cultural performances by local area dance troupes were also showcased.

The evening’s guest speakers included Chairman of the Fulton County Board of Commissioners, Dr. John Eaves, and Lt. General Joseph Peterson. Lt. General Peterson, with Chinese, Japanese and Hawaiian ancestry, is the first three-star Asian American General. A native of Honolulu, Peterson retired last year after 38 years of service to the Army and his country.
