2018 Leadership Development Program LDP Kick Off

After two month preparation, the 2018-19 Leadership Development Program together with the Legal mentoring program successfully held its kick off meeting in Coca Cola Plaza, under the sponsorship of the Coca-Cola Foundation. 42 attendance including NACA chairs, Board of Directors, mentors, speakers, mentees and Legal professions joined the meeting on the sunny Sat. afternoon.

NACA president Ric Hubler and Coca Cola Foundation Eric Want delivered the opening speech. NACA chair Lani Wong and Ric awarded the mentor certificate to 8 mentors who committed to take their time and effort to help 8 selected mentees from different company and profession. LDP chair, Jenny Tang introduced the LDP’s mission, goal, and deliverable.

After the new mentees met with our mentors and members of NACA, we started the firsts group session with three guest speakers to elaborate on the topic of  “Succeed & Challenge in Corporate World”. Through their own experience, learnings, challenges, insights to share how to grow, how to drive self-motivation and manage their goal in the continuously changing career and location challenge.

The meeting lasted two and half hours. Including the NACA newly created Legal mentoring team and introduction.

We got positive feedback and the LDP committee is collecting inputs to better incorporate into the next program and activities.

Finally, the LDP working committee would like to take this chance to thank NACA and Coca Cola provided young profession a learning platform.
