Nellie Li is the owner and CEO of LGZ Plastic, Inc and Welife Packaging Inc, and one of the founding members of Boston Financial Search, which was established in 1999 to service the hiring needs of financial service clients in Asia Pacific region. Her primary focus is senior level candidates in the areas of fixed income, commodities, and credit, foreign exchange and equity derivatives.
Nellie is a native Mandarin speaker with a reputation in the Asia Pacific market for being
an excellent resource to candidates and clients alike. As a preferred vendor to many large financial institutions, Nellie has great insight into the competitive market intelligence, compensation and hiring challenges faced by many of the key players in Asia.
After graduating from Shandong University in 1988 with a BA in English Literature, Nellie spent five years working for China International Travel Service (CITS) before coming to the US to pursue her MBA in Finance at Suffolk University in Boston, Massachusetts.
In 2014, Nellie became the CEO of LGZ Plastics, Inc.; a company based in Atlanta Georgia manufacturing and wholesale plastic and paper products to the South-Eastern region of the United States. In April 2018, LGZ Plastic, Inc has become the Winner of USPAACC’s Fast 100 Asian American Business Awards 2018.
In 2017, Nellie launched a new E Commerce business called Welife Packing and business has started to grow and prosper in 2020.
Nellie is also very active in the community and has been a member of NACA since 2004( with recent three years serveing as board member); Nellie has been serving as the Principle of the Atlanta Contemporary Chinese Academy(ACCA), South Campus at the Emory University from 2012 to 2020. and also serve on the board of GA Advancing Progress Pac for two years and a member with AAPI.
