Maggie is the founder and CEO of MBM International Logistics, a dynamic freight forwarding company.
In 2012 her company relocated to a new facility that she purchased and renovated into an 11,000sf combination office and warehouse expanding her service portfolio into warehousing and distribution. That same year she formed a strategic partnership with Hector Javier Romero, CHB Licensed Customs Broker in order to offer in house customs brokerage services to her extensive customer base.
Before starting MBM, Maggie was an international sourcing consultant and translator, primarily involved in the sourcing business of matching up companied with prospecting buyers’ worldwide, with primary emphasis on China.
Maggie was born in Beijing, she studied at Beijing Foreign Language University. She came to the United States as a recipient of a highly selective internship program in Hotel Management from the Walt Disney Company. She later attended Georgia State University, and also earned a Master degree in cosmetology.
Maggie has received the following awards and nominations. “As woman of the year 2010/2011 from the National Association of Professional Women or NAPW”
She was honored with a plaque from General Consul, Madam Qiao Hong for her work in providing the necessary logistics for the safe return of World Tour of Olympic Sculptures back to Beijing. She receive an appreciation certificate for sponsoring the opening of the 2008 Beijing Olympics at the World Trade Center or WTC.
Maggie is actively involved in the local Asian-Chinese communities. She has been a Member of NACA since 2007, and sever board member of CBAA as Treasure, she also member of Metro Atlanta Chamber of Commerce and Global Commerce, Atlanta air Cargo Association, Atlanta Maritime Association, Clayton County Chamber of Commerce, Air Ocean Partners and international association of freight forwarder and customs broker headquarter in Munich Germany with participation from industry membership in 101 countries.
