12-08-2009 - China Town Hall: Local Connections, National Reflections: "Issues in U.S.-China Relations"
Each year the National Committee on U.S.-China Relations organizes a national conversation on a timely topic. Due to the anniversary of the establishment of U.S. - China relations, this year's topic is a retrospect and look to the future of our bilateral relations.
This program will open with panel presentations by Mr. Kevin Nealer, Principal and Partner with the Scowcroft Group, Washington, D.C. and Dr. Penelope B. Prime, Professor at Mercer University and Director of the China Research Center.
This will be followed by a webcast speech by The Honorable Kurt M. Campbell, Assistant Secretary of State for East Asian and Pacific Affairs, U.S. Department of State.
Discussion with the audience and Mr. Nealer and Dr. Prime will follow the webcast.
